Thank
You
For
Your
Donations
Thank you so
much for your generous donations for "Keep the Waters Flowing" to
the poor people of Cite Soleil, Haiti.
As you know Cite Soleil is a slum suburb of
Port-au-Prince with a population of 300,000. Fresh water is available
to them only by purchasing it, creating a tremendous financial burden
on these already poverty-stricken people. You are assisting thousands
of needy families and individuals to obtain fresh, clean water for
their daily drinking, cooking, and household needs.
With the generous support of people like you,
we are able to deliver 14,000 gallons of fresh water to an estimated
2800 families every day, six days a week! It is heart-warming and
fulfilling to witness people form long lines, waiting to fill their
5-gallon buckets in which to carry the treasured fresh water back to
their homes. To them, you are an unnamed hero.
With deep gratitude, we thank you for helping
us to "Keep the Waters Flowing!" Together, we make a difference in
touching the lives of thousands of people! We are reminded that giving
drink to the thirsty is one of the seven
corporal works of Mercy. "Amen I say to you, whatever you did for
one of these least brothers or sisters of mine, you did for Me" (Matthew
25:40). May God bless you most abundantly!
Sincerely in Christ,
Father Bernard Reiser, Reiser Relief Inc.

Matthew
25:37-46
The Sheep and the Goats
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him,
he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be
gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another
as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep
on his right and the goats on his left.
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry
and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we
see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe
you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one
of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' "Then he will
say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the
eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry
and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing
to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed
clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did
not look after me.'
"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or
a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help
you?' "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do
for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to
eternal life."
Buy a Hungry Child in Haiti a Meal

I'm sure you can imagine missing a meal, you might even be able to
imagine not eating for a full day. But can you imagine being a
child
and not knowing when
you will eat again?
Around $30.00 buys
enough food
to feed 100 children in Haiti.
