Keep the Wheel Turning Event

Thank you!

Reiser Relief raised $27,000 in donations at our Keep the Wheel Turning event on April 24, 2013, and over $16,000 in mail-in donations.  Our goals for this year’s event were to raise funds to replace the roof on the Community Building at Reiser Heights School in Lespinasse Haiti, and for our general monthly operating expenses in Haiti.   Your generous donations will provide all of the funds necessary to replace the roof and to serve the needs of poor, elderly and homeless Haitians for 8 months.   As always, we will continue to ask Father Reiser for guidance in how to best provide relief, hope and dignity in Haiti, and we will continue to keep you, our faithful supporters, informed of all that we do.

As we work to carry on Father Reiser’s legacy of helping the poor people of Haiti, we are overwhelmed by the continued support of our long-time donors, and we are deeply grateful to our new supporters.  We assure you that along with all new projects we support in Haiti, we still continue to support the five ministries started by Father Reiser, those being fresh water delivery, food, education, orphan care and elder care.

It only takes one smile from a dirty, shoeless, Haitian child or one hug from a weathered and forgotten elderly Haitian to assure us we are doing as Father Reiser and our Lord would want of us.

We sold over 70 buckets at the KTWT event.  People personalized them, and they’ll be shipped off to Haiti and given to a family in need! The $20 donation for the bucket will provide clean water to two families for an entire month!
