10/9/2012: Reiser Relief Inc is honored to announce the release of a “Memorial” hardcover edition of Reiser’s Ramblings by its late founder, Father Bernard Reiser.
“We couldn’t be happier with the way the hardcover edition of Reiser’s Ramblings has come together, it looks great and we are so happy with the design of the book” noted Ann Brau – Reiser Relief President and niece of author Fr, Reiser.
“We are proud to honor Father with a sentimental tribute by offering a “memorial” hardcover version of his book. I’m sure he would find the recognition to be both humbling and heartwarming.”
All profits from the sale of Reiser’s Ramblings go to Haitian relief efforts sponsored by Reiser Relief.
The “Memorial” hardcover will be available late October to early November and can be pre-ordered through Epiphany Church Gift Center, and St. George Catholic bookstore in Blaine, MN.

****Hurricane Isaac update****

8/27/12: Some good news! We got word from our ministries (schools, Grace Village, etc.) and everyone is ok and they didn’t get hit too hard! Praise God!

8/27/12: Sad news: the death count is up to 19 in Haiti; many due to their homes collapsing on top of them. Flooding has occurred in Port-au-Prince, and the hardest hit area was Jacmel in the Southern peninsula. Read this article to see some heartbreaking pictures. What can YOU do to help? Donate at reiserrelief.org, sign up for a mission trip, or PRAY!

8/27/12: We are waiting for updates from our ministries in Haiti to see what sort of damage they received. According to CNN there was heavy rain and winds, and many tents were blown over. There are 2 reported deaths so far. Pray for them!

8/24/12: Tropical storm Isaac hasn’t hit Haiti yet. It likely will NOT become hurricane strength before it hits, and it has also slightly shifted south so the eye of the storm might not be directly over Port-au-Prince. Our prayers are working-keep them going!!!

8/23/12: Hurricane Isaac is projected to hit Haiti some time on Friday. Up to a foot of rain is expected, and much less has caused flash floods and mudslides there in the past. Port-au-Prince still has over 400,000 people living in tents after the earth quake of 2010. This storm could be devastating for them! Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We will keep you updated with any news here.
